personal hobby has grown into a business where I design original quilt patterns, teach techniques, and connect with a community of quilters. As a teacher, I strive to create a welcoming and encouraging environment for quilters of all skill levels. I focus on breaking techniques into clear, manageable steps so students feel confident and successful. My classes emphasize strong foundational skills while encouraging creativity and expression.

Laurie Burrows
Some of the sweetest memories of my grandmother were sitting across her quilt frames working on a quilt together. She taught me to hand quilt, and started me on my quilting journey. Those experiences led me to piecing, fabric hoarding, etc. I love the connection between quilts, love, warmth, and family history. I cherish the friendships I've made through quilting. I'm married to my sweetheart of 40 years. We have 5 children, and 11 ADORABLE grandchildren.
They are my joy! Happy Quilting.

I learned to hand quilt when I was 15 from my grandmother. I didn't make a first quilt until about 7 years later when I started having children. About 8
years after that I really started exploring more diversly than casual dibbling, taking classes, joining a group, joining the guild, and just became very involved in quilting. I have taught classes in the guille, in stores and on retreats. I got a long arm quilting machine 20 years ago and have done a lot of quilting for myself and Friends. I have made over 300 quilts, and enjoy
designing my own pattterns, inspired by other things I see.

Pam Wing
My love of quilting began as a child while napping on my grandmother’s quilts. I live in Parowan, UT and have been quilting for over twenty-five years, and teaching for ten years. I love to learn new techniques and create my own designs.

Rochelle Meyer
I started sewing with my mom. I sewed clothes because I had to; I sewed crafts because I loved to. Crafts got me into quilting. My first real quilt was for my parents’ 50th anniversary. This was the beginning of my addiction. The opportunity came to work for a
quilt shop and I jumped at it. I could combine my loves of learning, teaching, and quilting! I love sharing my knowledge and love of anything to do with quilting, including bags, machine embroidery and piecing. I'm the proud mom of 5 kids, 5 awesome in-laws and 10 grandchildren who love to sew with me.

Saundra Cindrich
I’d rather sew than cook or clean or weed the garden. I’d rather pet my fabric than a dog. I become almost giddy in a fabric store—been like that since 1994. I love to teach quilting classes more than eating ice cream—and I really do like ice cream! Nothing makes me happier than seeing students in my classes have success in whatever project they are working on.

Sheryl Lewis
Quilter since1992.

Wendy Liddle

So Much Talent!
Every year we begin the application process once the theme for the next year is chosen. Anyone can apply to teach.
Applications are reviewed around April so we can make decisions on what classes to have at the Festival, and get ready for Registration on June 1st.
