QUILT SHOW

The quilt show is open to the public during the Quilter's Heritage Festival, held at the Sevier County Fair Grounds October 8th - 10th. We really love to display quilts of all sizes, colors, and of all ages.

If you are interested in displaying a quilt please click the link below for more information and download the Quilt Show Entry Form.   Then bring that form with you to check in on the 6th or 7th.

Note: We encourage people to bring multiple quilts so we can show the variety of quilting styles and patterns.  There is no limit, within reason.

This year's theme is "Fired Up For Quilting"

If you have a quilt that fits the theme, it will be displayed in specific areas that are decorated around the theme.

We will also have our BLACK LIGHT ROOM set up, for anyone who has a quilt with thread or fabric that glows under UV lights.  We are probably the only Quilt Show that has this unique room, so if you have something you can show, please bring it and show your wonderful work and quilting talents.

Download the form now and get a jump on check in.

QUILTING CLASSES

We have assembled some of the best quilters to teach you during the Quilter's Heritage Festival. Come learn and create something NEW!

Classes fill fast, so don't wait.

Find that class that is perfect for you.

Open Sewing Spots

This year we are introducing "Reserved" Open sewing spots.  You can reserve a 4 hour spot, a full day, or get a 3 day pass and have your own sewing spot for working on your projects.

4 Hour spots ($10/spot)

8 am -12 noon, 12:30 - 4:30, 5:00 - 9:00

All Day ($25/day)

3 Day Pass $(60 for the entire event)

Power will be provided to each table.

There will be 2 spots per table, with a travel iron and pressing board to share.

Larger cutting and pressing stations nearby.

For more details, fill out the form below and a committee member will call you to get you the best spot available.

Quilter's Heritage Festival - Open Sewing Reservation Request

Please read through the details below to make sure you are aware of how the Open Sewing Reservation system will be run this year.

There are 2 spots available for each table. If you want a full table, you will need to pay for both spots.

We will try to have a table near each location to be used for larger cutting and pressing challenges. If all goes as planned, we will have our small pressing boards on each table with a travel iron. We limit each table to one travel iron and two sewing machines so we don't overload the breakers. Please don't bring large or older irons as they seem to be our biggest breaker breakers.

Reservations will be posted in each area so there is no question of who gets what spot and when. It will also let others know what spots are open without a reservation.

Only Mike, in the office, can change or edit a reservation during the event.

Please do not write any changes in, they must be approved by Mike.

There are no refunds on the day of the reservation. You may cancel and get a refund up until the day before the reservation to allow others to take the spot.

Any spot not reserved, becomes free on that specific day. The only way to hold that spot is to be present. You cannot hold a spot with a jacket or even a sewing machine. If you go to class, the spot opens up for someone else, unless it is reserved. Any spots not reserved will still be open on a "First come first served" basis.

Sewing machines and other supplies may be left in Reserved spots, even overnight, but we do recommend you cover them up with a sheet or some fabric when you are not there.

Please be courteous and respectful to those in these areas.

Individual 4 Hour Spots $10 Each

Full Day Reservations $25 per day

3 Day Pass (The whole event) $60

To make a reservation, review the image on the website so you can tell us what area you are interested in. Then fill out the form below and we will call you to figure out the best spot to meet your needs. If you have friends or a group that would like an area, that should be noted below.

We will call people back in the order that this form is received.

What DAYS are you interested in?
What Time(s) are you interested in?
What area would you like to be in?

We will get back to you in the order that these forms are received.
