Description:   An unusual star block makes this lovely quilt.  I've used many light batik backgrounds and many patterned (colored) batiks for the stars.  But it would be wonderful in any fabric combination.  Christmas?  Patriotic?

Fabric Requirements:
You will need several backgrounds and print fabrics. Fat quarters work well. To make a quilt with 13 blocks you will need about 2 yards of background for setting triangles and binding.
 
Finished project size: You will be learning how to make a beautiful block and will determine how many blocks you want to make. The block finishes at 12" and I have made wall hanging of about 50" as well as a king size quilt. It would make a wonderful table runner as well.
